Keith Wilson July 30, 1948 - January 14, 2024
Originally a geologist and adventurer, Keith fell in love with the world of healing meditation in the 1980’s and 90’s. After developing his intuitive capabilities and helping himself and others work through their personal blocks, he traveled to Guatemala in 2003 and met the Cacao Spirit.
She led him to rediscover the ancient Central and South American societies’ use of pure, Ceremonial Grade Cacao to open the heart, clear the mind, and empower those working toward creative goals.
To learn more, Keith experimented with hand-grinding small batches of cacao that his friends and clients found revolutionary, and the positive response brought Keith to lead cacao ceremonies that dubbed him the “Chocolate Shaman.” He then built his cacao workshop, permanently settling himself and his life and business partner, Barbara, in San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala.
Many who have experienced his powerful cacao ceremonies have returned home to share their new knowledge with their communities, creating a loving global network of cacao ceremonialists and practitioners inspired by Keith and his work.
By finding a connection between its original spiritual uses and our modern times, Keith has expanded the application and use of cacao into both creative and business worlds by demonstrating that pure, Ceremonial Grade Cacao can provide intuition and benefit in all capacities, whether that be meditation, writing, or even a budget-planning session.
