Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz Keith's Cacao
- 12 oz Almond milk
- 1 Tangerine
- ¼ tsp Fresh lavender
- Stevia - to taste
- 1 cup Ice
Instructions
- To begin, chop your Ceremonial Cacao and set aside.
- Using a potato peeler, carefully remove a curl from the tangerine peel, avoiding the white "pith" or bitter rind. Set aside.
- Cut your tangerine in half, and set aside.
- In a saucepan over low heat, add almond milk, lavender, stevia, and orange peel. Next, squeeze in half the tangerine.
- Allow your liquid mix to simmer gently. Ideally, it will be warm but not hot.
- If using a BLENDER, add the chopped cacao to a blender, pour over the liquid and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Alternatively, add the chopped cacao to the saucepan with the rest of the ingredients and use a WHISK to mix until fully dissolved.
- Next, pour your blended elixir over a glassful of ice. You may garnish your drink with a sprig of lavender or rim the edge with the remaining tangerine.
- Enjoy!
