With the Autumn season upon us and colder weather sneaking in, our body temperature drops, and our appetites get stimulated. When exposed to colder temperatures, we burn more calories as our body tries to keep itself warm. Hence, we reach for more carb-heavy foods, as they give us that much-needed energy boost.

Our Cacao granola bars are the perfect ammunition against cold weather. With a high vitamin and mineral content, they help keep our immune system strong, allowing the body to ward off germs and viruses that are trying to invade and attack, causing disease. And they are absolutely delicious too!

Pumpkin, Nutmeg & Cacao Bean Granola Bars

Made with fresh pumpkin, peanut butter, and perfectly spiced oats and seeds, along with cacao’s superfood status, these bars are a perfect way to start your day, or a quick pick me up while on the go. Give them a try and be sure to tag us @keithscacao

  • Prep Time: 45 mins




  • ½ cup Keith's Hand Peeled Cacao Beans
  • 2 cips Oats, Old-Fashioned/Rolled
  • ⅓ cup Pumpkin Puree
  • ¼ cup Peanut Butter
  • ½ cup Mixed Seeds & Nuts: Pumpkin Seeds, Walnut, Chia Seeds, Linseed
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg


  1. Blend oats, pumpkin puree, peanut butter, honey and nutmeg in a food processor.
  2. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Crush walnuts and Cacao beans.
  4. Add walnuts, Cacao nibs and all the seeds into the mixture.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Pour out into a 9x5 inch tray, lined with parchment paper.
  7. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  8. Cut, eat and enjoy!
