Our founder, Keith Wilson the world's beloved Chocolate Shaman, left this realm on January 14, 2024. His presence was an amazing part of last year's Homecoming Retreat. Many felt that his spirit-wisdom was "more accessible" in the non-physical form. We are proud to continue Keith's legacy and have woven many of his teachings into this year's Homecoming experience. Tat Andrés Jiménez

Tat Andrés Jiménez is an Ajq'ij (medicine man) initiated in the Maya K'iché tradition by Nan Faviana Cochoy Alba and Tat Pedro Yac Noj from Guatemala.As a dedicated guardian of Cacao medicine, Tat Andrés Jiménez has spent the last 12 years delving into its medicinal, therapeutic, and spiritual properties. His commitment is evident in the hundreds of Ceremonies he has conducted over the past 9 years.Currently, Tat Andrés Jiménez holds the position of Operations Manager at Keith's Cacao, a company founded by Keith Wilson. Keith is renowned for reintroducing the ceremonial use of Cacao to non-Indigenous peoples of the West.AndréJiménez'sn's San Marcos La Laguna is on Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, where he performs Fire and Cacao Ceremonies, guides personalized therapeutic processes both in person and online, and conducts training for those wishing to approach Cacao medicine with integrity, authenticity, and respect.His therapeutic practice is centered on understanding and healing the deep roots of our emotional symptoms through a loving, compassionate, practical, and decisive approach. Gisela Hincapié is a Vibrational Therapist & Ajq'ij, a Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, and Cacao Ceremonialist. She is also a practitioner of Mayan Abdominal Massage and the Sonido Sana® method of healing with one’s own voice. Gisela is certified in Biomagnetism, Vibrational Chart Reprogramming®, BioReprogramming of the Feminine System Maiku®, and IN-BREATH® Breathwork.With 11 years of experience as a healer and therapist, She guides classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats, and supports personalized healing processes through her private therapeutic practice. Her core mission is to assist individuals and groups in their search for their authentic self—the light within that transcends societal and personal conditioning. She aims to reconnect her clients with their innate self-healing abilities, helping restore love and self-confidence while supporting the manifestation of their life purpose.Gisela’s intuitive gifts, combined with her extensive therapeutic knowledge, allow her to create unique healing experiences tailored to the needs and desires of individuals and groups. Nicole Gnutzman

Nicole Gnutzman is a Cacao Medicine, Reiki and Shamanic Practitioner, Journey Guide and Mentor and certified Coach, who has held Cacao Medicine Journeys at yoga and meditation studios, international retreats and healing arts centers; and privately for groups and individuals since 2014. Her private work includes guiding clients on healing journeys with plant medicine that allow them to get unstuck, release old patterns, and reconnect mind-body-soul. Previously, she worked in the corporate world for 18 years as an educational publishing executive and is Director of Training & Course Design for Keith's Cacao, co-designing and facilitating the Power of Cacao Practitioner Training and virtual Cacao Immersions, and moderating the popular Cacao Practitioner Panel Calls. Nicole shares Cacao as a plant medicine journey that includes intention setting, guided meditation, shamanic drumming, Reiki healing, and sacred music. It is a deep inward journey experience in which we ask to release, heal, and receive what our soul most needs.

Nan Geraldina Valladares

Nan Geraldina Valladares, also known as Gera, is a Mexican-born traveler, free spirit, cacao lover, ceremonialist, counselor, and medicine woman, and carries the title Nan Ajq'ij (Mayan spiritual guide). She has lived by the shores of magical Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, working as a healer and therapist for over seven years. Gera leads sacred female circles, workshops, one-on-one counseling sessions, and designs retreats. Her mission is to guide women toward their inner light through self-understanding, self-love, and embracing the wisdom of their bodies, life experiences, and natural cycles: "We cannot love what we do not fully understand." A guardian of Cacao medicine, Gera has spent the last six years exploring, embodying, and sharing its magical and medicinal properties. She has developed a 21-day personalized Cacao program that, combined with other practices, has helped individuals overcome challenges like addiction, depression, and low self-confidence. She currently serves as the Events Manager at Keith's Cacao. Gera acknowledges with gratitude the wisdom of her teachers, including Imix Kuk (Plant Medicine & Shamanic Practices), Mayella Almazán (Yoni Eggs, Female Taichi, Womb Blessing, Rahanni Certification), Isabel Keoseyan (Vedic Meditation), Thom Knoles (Vedic Wisdom), Miranda Gray (Womb Blessing), Keith Wilson (Cacao, Energetic Healing & Quantum Shifting), Angelina Martínez (Rebozo Skills, Midwifery Herbalism, Biodecoding Therapy), Vangelis Legakis (Contact Beyond Contact), and Tat Pedro Yac Noj and Nan Faviana Alba Cochoy (Mayan Cosmovision and Cacao). She is also currently certifying in the Biorizoma Therapy Method with Violeta Vázquez.

Alexa Maithé

Alexa Maithé is an interdisciplinary artist and designer from Honduras, and a certified practitioner of Ceremonial Cacao. With formal training in interior and product design from Florence, Italy, her expertise encompasses creating art, murals, furniture, and designing spaces. A self-taught visual artist since the age of 16, Alexa works across a range of mediums, including AutoCAD, repurposed material sculptures, 3D modeling, ceramics, and painting.Her artistic journey is deeply rooted in Theosophy and ancient wisdom, with spiritual practices like meditation, breathwork, and Cacao playing a central role in her creative process. These practices inspire art that incorporates symbols, geometry, and intuitive forms. In addition to her artistic work, Alexa leads transformative Cacao sessions, combining Cacao with meditation, breathwork, art, and movement to facilitate deep personal and collective transformation and creative expression.

Leslie Purchase, MD

Leslie Purchase, MD, is a cancer coach, ceremonial alchemist, and Keith’s Cacao Practitioner. As a former physician, former cancer patient, and former cancer caregiver, her experience is multifaceted and truly holistic. As a cancer coach, she creates a safe, judgment-free space for people to hear their inner guidance. In her work as a ceremonial alchemist, she weaves her extensive knowledge of the body and brain with respect for the mystery of what is not yet explained. Leslie’s inclusive deep listening is coupled with simplicity and directness. Her work with the dying informs her playful, joyful approach to living. Currently, she is organizing 10-day retreats to an Ayurvedic treatment center in her ancestral home of Kerala, India.

Duncan J

London-born and DJing music since the 1990s, Duncan arrived to Lago Atitlan in December 2012 and discovered ceremonial-grade cacao, returning repeatedly to San Marcos La Laguna to heal, learn and step into his gifts. Lifetimes spent on Keith´s porch learning meditation & inner processing but, ultimately, how to be a dance floor shaman and offer a truly transformational experience. Duncan only uses Keith´s cacao for his ecstatic dance offerings, 1-to-1 private sessions & his own personal practice. Having shared dance-space for Homecoming the past three years, he is excited and grateful to return for a fourth year to bring his intuitive blend of heart-focused multi-genre movement music to all coming to Guatemala.

La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City

The easiest and most direct is via a private car, but there are many options for each budget range.

Inside the Homecoming Facebook Group you can arrange to share a car with other attendees. The price to hire a car and driver is APPROX 1275Q ($170USD) for up to 3 passengers, so if you are travelling in a small group to or from the La Aurora Airport, this is a great option!

Yes. There is a 'ticket-only' option available to purchase. There are many options for hotels & AirBnbs that can be arranged seperately.

Breakfast is included each day and there are 3 dinners included in the experience.

Yes. After booking your ticket you will be connected with our Homecoming event planner to organize alternative meal options.

Yes however children over the age of 2 will require their own ticket.
