About Keith Wilson

(July 30, 1948 - January 14, 2024)

Keith Wilson was a geologist, herbalist, and healer who had been helping people for decades, when a surprise encounter in Guatemala altered the course of his life.

Keith was highly attuned to energy and multidimensional beings, but he never expected the consciousness of the cacao plant to speak to him. “She told me to go find out why chocolate was so important to the ancients in this part of the world.”

Through extensive research, Keith understood that cacao was an overlooked teacher in our modern times.

“Cacao is one of our planet’s most important teachers, facilitators, magic plants–and it doesn’t work like anything I’ve ever had before.”

THE CHOCOLATE SHAMAN

Keith experimented for years to create the most powerful cacao for inner work and connection. He called it Ceremonial Grade Cacao and began sharing it with the curious soul-seekers who flocked to his porch in San Marcos la Laguna, Guatemala. He named these group gatherings cacao ceremonies, and his students nicknamed him The Chocolate Shaman. As Keith’s students brought his teachings home, other ceremonial cacaos and cacao ceremonies sprang up around the world.

For 20 years, Keith spread the magic of cacao all over the world, together with his partner, Barbara.

Though Keith is no longer with us, at Keith’s Cacao we strive to carry forth his mission and legacy every single day: sharing the power of cacao with the modern world and helping people transform their lives.
