    Why Homecoming

An Immersive experience for Cacao Practitioners, Cacao Lovers, and the Cacao Curious!

At Homecoming, you don’t just drink cacao—you experience its full journey. From the farm to the workshop to the cup in your hands, you’ll walk the path of cacao and discover how deeply it connects land, people, and spirit.

This is more than a retreat—it’s a return: to the source of the world’s finest ceremonial cacao, to connection with fellow cacao lovers and practitioners, and to your own heart, truth, and joy.

    a harvest to heart experience

Step into the world of cacao where it is grown, tended, and transformed. Wander through a family-run farm, crack open a pod, and taste the fruit of the cacao tree. Meet the women who toast and peel each bean by hand, their laughter and care woven into every bar. Enter the Keith’s Cacao workshop, where intention turns beans into heart-opening magic.

This is cacao as relationship: between land and farmer, seed and spirit, heart and community. In ceremony, you’ll be invited deeper into your own listening, your own unfolding.

And as cacao opens you, so will the people beside you. Stories shared, songs sung, connections formed—many that linger long after you’ve left the lake.

    Homecoming Highlights

    Experience the Cacao rainforest

Walk among cacao trees, taste the fruit fresh from the pod, and meet the families who have tended this land for generations. Here, cacao speaks through the soil, the hands, and the hearts that nurture it.

    See the process first-hand

Meet the tostadoras, women who roast and peel each bean with steady hands and open hearts. In their care, cacao is lifted from seed to spirit, ready to be shared in ceremony.

    Visit the Keith's Cacao workshop

Called the Taller (Spanish for workshop), this is where cacao is nurtured from bean to bar: lovingly and minimally processed, shaped, blessed, and readied for ceremony.

    Meet our Team in Guatemala

Get to know our cacao family in Guatemala, the people whose care and dedication nurture every bean you enjoy.

    Sit in multiple Ceremonies

Join multiple cacao ceremonies, led by seasoned practitioners who share their knowledge, gifts, and ways of working with cacao.

    • CARLOS MARCUS

Carlos is a Mallorca-born sound wizard and cacao whisperer whose life’s work blends beats, vibrations, and heart-opening chocolate ceremonies. Equal parts producer, songwriter, and ceremonial guide, he helps people find their own “inner frequency” while making every session feel like a sonic adventure.

    • HERB & ALLA

Herb and Alla are the dynamic duo behind The Black Lotus, blending shadow work, cacao ceremonies, and deep inner exploration with a no-nonsense approach to personal growth. With decades of experience in meditation, hypnotherapy, yoga, and transformational coaching, they guide people to uncover hidden blocks, heal shadows, and step into their full power.

    • NICOLE GNUTZMAN

Nicole is a heart-centered shamanic guide and cacao alchemist who turns sacred ceremonies into journeys of transformation. With a playful, joyful energy and a deep connection to spirit, she helps people release old patterns, open their hearts, and step fully into their own light.

    • RICK WESSELS

The self-proclaimed "luckiest man in the universe," Rick is the CEO who traded soul-sapping grind for heart-led flow, letting Keith’s Cacao unlock his intuition, creativity, and joy-filled leadership. With sharp business savvy and deep self-awareness, he guides his team—and himself—with empathy, playfulness, and a steady pulse of inspired insight.

    • ROBERT Hall

Robert is a NYC-based metaphysician and Gongmaster who blends sound, breath, and visualization to guide deep, cacao-fueled inner work. Through his ceremonies, workshops, and sonic experiences, he illuminates the energetic wisdom of cacao, helping participants attune to its spirit and deepen their own intuitive communication.
